Last month Pamela from Something Wagging this Way Comes created the Pet Blogger Gift Exchange, a fun way to exchange encouragement, compliments, and a little bit of link love with another blogger. I was excited to see that I was paired with Tales and Tails, but also a little intimidated! I’m sure you have seen the beautiful photos on her site, I visit it daily just to see what her four pups are up to! Yes, you read that right, daily. Mrs. Taleteller (and sometimes Bunny) post DAILY! Maybe they will write a post and tell us how they manage it!
How can one pick from so many great posts? I can’t, which will hopefully explain my procrastination. I’m a deadline driven kind of girl, and let’s face it, I still have three whole days before the Pet Blogger Gift Exchange ends! But I digress.
Let me just start by saying that I love all of the tales that are told on this blog, and the images? Where does one find the time to take so many beautiful images? Yesterday, while doing a little poking around, I found her Flickr Daily Dog Photostream. Go ahead, click on the link, I’m sure you’ve got an hour or so to kill looking at pictures of her adorable dogs, right?
Bunny is obviously the model of the group. She is always up for a photo shoot, and never seems to disappoint her photographer. But she’s not just another pretty face, she is also a thoughtful writer and aspiring therapy dog. I always look forward to her posts, and was most recently truly moved by this one: Looking for More Beautiful. It really helped me feel better on a very sad day.
I started following Tales and Tails right around the time that they got Kuster. I drove my hubby crazy showing him the adorable pictures of baby Kuster and this particular post had me laughing for days! It’s Getting Nippley in Here. I think Kuster and Mr. Taleteller have worked things out, and now Kuster is training to be a Search and Rescue dog. I love how she describes him in this post as a mix of goofball puppy and serious working dog.
Bunny and Kuster are not the only adorable characters on this blog – Blueberry keeps them on their toes too! I really giggle when I read posts like this one. Now seriously, who could get angry at that sweet face? I especially loved how Morgan got in on the action – they are quite a pair. Speaking of Morgan, I really loved this birthday post, what a lucky girl she is to have landed with the Taletellers
I got a huge kick out of the fact that they attempted to photograph the four dogs together for Christmas, and succeeded! We have some funny outtakes of our own from several years ago when we tried to do a picture of the two of us with the three cats and Cali. In most of the photos we were just giggling and the animals were giving each other the stink-eye – (next year I challenge you and Mr. Taleteller to get in the picture!)
I don’t think it is possible that you haven’t visited Tales and Tails, but if you haven’t, make sure you have plenty of time when you do, there is a lot to see!! I would have included some pictures in this post, but I just couldn’t choose, I’ll leave you with one of the adorable outtakes I swiped from their holiday session – they are such sweet pups! Thanks Pamela for the chance to participate (next time, you might want to give me tighter deadlines!) I hope you’ll head on over to all of the blogs that were nice enough to participate!
